Allergy Armor Allergy Proof Bedding
By Heather Legg | Apr 14, 2008
We always hear about how dust mites are so hard to get rid of and keep away. They end up everywhere in the house, especially in bedding. Because we spend a good percentage of our hours in bed, the effect of dust mites can be awful. Our faces are in the pillow with the dust mites; we breathe them in through our covers. They even get into the mattress. So what is the best way to really get rid of them?
There is now a product on the market receiving high accolades for its fight against dust mites, Allergy Armor. Allergy Armor bedding casings are made from a fabric woven so tightly that dust mites and other allergens, like pet dander, cannot pass through the material. Allergy Armor makes pillow covers (which I have and they are remarkably comfortable as well as effective), mattress covers, duvet covers and even box spring enclosures.
Previously, allergy free bedding has been uncomfortable and noticeable under regular bedding. The Allergy Armor bedding, however, is imperceptible under regular sheets and pillow cases. The material is soft and zippers are well hidden. They go right over pillows, mattress, comforter or box springs, and then your regular pillow case, duvet cover or mattress pad goes on top. You won’t even know it’s there, but you will notice that your allergies are greatly improved.
Allergy Armor has also just come out with its two latest products, Allergy Armor Pillows and Blankets. The pillows already have the Allergy Armor barrier, so there is no need to encase them in anything but your own pillow case. They are finished with an antimicrobial barrier to guard against mold and bacteria growth and will keep dust mites, pet dander and other allergens away from your face and airways. The Allergy Armor Blankets are made of Polartec microfiber fleece and are soft and warm as well as effective. They are durable enough to endure frequent washings and have the same antimicrobial finish.
Allergy Armor bedding is easy to install and remove, and easy to care for by washing in hot water and can be put in the drier. Pillow cases should be washed once a month and mattress covers a few times a year.
Allergy armor was created by the founder and CEO of Achoo! Allergy, a leading player in the allergy market. CEO Cade McDonald had been a long time allergy sufferer and saw the need for comfortable and effective allergy free bedding. After a few years of research and development, Allergy Armor made its debut and soon became achoo! Allergy’s best selling items as well as receiving top reviews nationally.
In keeping with Achoo! Allergy’s high standards, Allergy Armor is only sold through the company. It is manufactured in the United States with premium standards and is reasonably priced. Achoo! Allergy also offers many other products for the allergy sufferer, and prides itself as a “one stop shop” for whatever is needed to combat allergies.
